The Spring Garden Show 2020
We are all currently facing unprecedented and challenging times, in South Africa as well as in the rest of the world. The Covid-19 pandemic shows no signs of abating, and as it is anticipated to peak in the coming months it is unlikely that any events in South Africa that cater for large gatherings will be permitted to take place before the end of October 2020.
Lonehill Media, organisers of The Garden Show, in association with the RAS prioritise the health, safety and wellbeing of all stakeholders and visitors of the show, and it is therefore with profound sadness and regret that we announce the cancellation of the 2020 Spring Garden Show.
Cancelling this year’s Garden Show has been a difficult decision to make as we had hoped to postpone the show to a date not later than the beginning of October (owing to seasonal conditions). Unfortunately the Covid-19 pandemic creates too much uncertainty for that to be done.
We would like to thank all exhibitors, sponsors, partners, suppliers and visitors for their continued support, and we look forward to seeing you all at next year’s Spring Garden Show, which is provisionally scheduled to take place from 3 – 5 September 2021.
As we continue to live in unimaginably challenging times, let’s continue to support each other, our families and our staff. And remember: gardening in your own garden has not been cancelled!
Happy Gardening and stay safe,
The Garden Show Team
