The Feature Gardens

Undoubtedly the highlight of the show is the feature gardens. Displays of new ideas and showcasing talented designers, this is the place to be. The large hall will be filled with beautiful flowers and plants in displays that will take your breath away.

Where: The Parks Hall

 

Spirit of Spring Canine Spectacular

Over 600 dogs will take part in breeding championships and agility events throughout the show.

Where: Main Arena

 

The Pet Hall

For all things pet-related from dog toys to bird seed, and everything in between.

Where: Hall 2

 

The Gourmet Food Hall

Enjoy a snack or lunch from the large selection in the food hall and relax on the terrace while taking in the antics of the dogs on the main arena.

Floriate Displays

Local floral artists show off their skill in stunning floral displays.

Where: Hall 7 and 8 and Parks Hall

 

Mom, Tots and Pops Expo

For the kids there is a wonderful play area to keep them busy, and 60+ exhibitors will have plenty of kids stuff to browse and shop.

The Schools Gardens

Our local schools gather every year a few days before the show opens to build mini gardens. The talents of these youngsters is something to see and the competition between the schools makes them work harder. Sponsored by the Coca Cola Beverage Company, the results of these gardens are on display for the show.

The Icing Hall

It is always amazing to see what a group of people can do with sugar. Fantastic iced cakes will enthrall.

The Plant Hall

Specialist growers fill this hall with exotic plants from orchids, clivias, clematis and bonsai. Get in order before the best are sold.

Quilting Hall

Beautiful quilts on display and prizes to be won.

Midlands 4×4 track

Have fun in a 4×4 on a tricky course laid out to test drivers’ skills.

The Heritage Braai area

As we celebrate Heritage Day on the Sunday, grab a traditional braaied wors roll or steak roll at the Heritage Braai area and enjoy music performed by local artists.

Art Show

A selection of local artist work will be on display and for sale.

Working with Wood

We are very excited to introduce the Working with Wood road show to The Witness Garden Show this year. Top South African and international demonstrators will share their woodworking skills and crafts from woodturning, carving, chair-making, sharpening, pyrography, boatbuilding to furniture making. Everything timber-related and eco-related, from mobile milling of slabs, to fine furniture and sculptures, sustainable alternatives for the home and natural resource management displays. The latest leading international brands will all be on display, used in the demos and for sale from Vermont Sales.
